Data spaces symposium

On March 12-14, the Data Spaces Symposium was held in Darmstadt, Germany, where Volodymyr Nochvay, Head of NOSC-UA DIH, participated and presented CADS Data Space expertise.

The Data Spaces Symposium was held at the Darmstadtium (Schlossgraben 1, 64283 Darmstadt, Germany), Frankfurt Region this year following its notable success in The Hague during the 2023 edition. Organized by the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC) and the Data Spaces Business Alliance (DSBA), this symposium is a pivotal gathering for those at the forefront of data space innovation and strategy. It serves as a platform to showcase the latest market-ready use cases, advanced technology solutions for existing and emerging data spaces, and the essential work done by the DSSC in crafting a foundational blueprint for common European data spaces, aligning with the European Data Strategy.

The invited speakers were representatives of the following companies: Tilde, IONOS, Orange, IBM, Treelogic, Nexio, Fiware, and others. More details about the program and speakers are available on the official website of the event.

The first day of DSBA Data Spaces Symposium was the perfect time and place for Andrea Battaglia (CEO, FIWARE Foundation) and Stefano De Panfilis (Chief Operations Officer at FIWARE Foundation e.V.) to officially welcome the Ukrainian EDIH NOSC-UA DIH as a new FIWARE iHub! A Memorandum was signed formalizing the active participation of DIH NOSC-UA in the FIWARE iHubs DSCaaS cluster!
